To Observe in SilenceTo Observe in Silence
The first thing one noticed in the morning was the silence. How cold it was, how deafening, and to an Altmer, it seemed almost as if death itself hovered over everything. It wasn't the sweet sort of quiet that greeted one in the high mountains of Cloudrest, nor the calming silence down along the coasts, just out of earshot of the waves. This was an all consuming, drumming in the ears; it pushed against everything, trying to make noise in the quiet without success, save for the thundering of one's heart.
Despite this, he relished the early morning tranquility (as he called it), because soon, he knew, the screaming would start, and would not cease again until late into the evening when the interrogators had had their fun.
Such was the life of a soldier in Aldmeri Dominion in Cyrodiil during the war.
Truthfully, he wasn't really a proper member of the Dominion. He merely cleaned up the chambers and disposed of any remains that might be left after a sess
The Mortality of Moirane Carvain vol. IThe Mortality of Moirane Carvain vol. I</I>
In the closing days of the Third Era, everyone had bad dreams.
In the years after the Warp of the West, settlements were destroyed by undead and travelers attacked by monsters.
In the decades after the death of Jagar Tharn, the walls between Nirn and the Planes of Oblivion grew ever weaker.
In the last years before war and death came and the end of the world was heralded I was born.
In the year 3E 407 the most cursed child in Mundus was born to Count Peragus and Countess Ophelia Carvain of Bruma.
That child grew up to be me.
My name is Moiraine Carvain, former Scribe to Emperor Uriel Septim VII, Lady of The Cyrodilic Jerall Mountains, Apprentice in the Arcane University, Nerevarine, Hero of Kvatch, Savior of Bruma, Champion of Cyrodiil, and the Dragonborn, Dovahkiin.
And this is the story of how I saved the world...
...and how I died

Seven bloody, Nine forsaken hours!
Seven hours walking without a break while soaked to the bone.
Finally, finally we got to Balmora after walking though the wilderness and over desolate roads.
"Why are we in Balmora? Vivec was closer." I complained.
Mercer gave me an exasperated scowl for the umpteenth time that day.
"Because, Carvain, news reaches Vivec quickly and we'd be found out. We still have a few hours before the news reaches here of the dragon attack. I have a contact here that can have us on a boat to the mainland by then. Once we're back in Riften, we'll get you sorted out and I never have to put a toe in Morrowind again." Mercer explained as we walked into a lower class part of the city.
"Who is this contact?" I asked, curious.
"You'll meet her in a moment." My companion said as we approached a rundown building with a sign reading 'the South Wall Co
ESV: Why I Dont Support The StormcloaksSo ever since Skyrim came around, the Elder Scrolls community had been split apart over the issue of Skyrim's Civil War between the Imperial Legion and the Stormcloaks. Each side has their pros and cons, each side has their positives and negatives and I can see both sides of the coin and their issues. Because of this a lot of people argue about who is right, which side has the best outcome, and from all the points and conclusions I rallied up, looked through, thought about, and so on I myself believe that in all honesty that the Imperial Legion has it right. I'm not saying that the Imperial Legion is perfect and I can see why those who fight along side with the Stormcloaks are set in their ways what with the banning of Talos but putting both the Legion and the Stormcloaks on a scale the Stormcloaks have more problems that I have against than what the Legion has. With the Legion, the only problems is of course the Thalmor to which I will be discussing along with this topic, and General
